Who We Are

The Sandy Pool is located inside the Olin Y. Bignall Aquatic Center (BAC) in Sandy, Oregon.  The pool has been an integral part of the community since it opened it's doors in the late sixties. The pool is currently operated by Oregon Swim Camp, who are contracted by the owners of the the facility, Oregon Trail School District. Oregon Swim Camp is committed to running a clean, well-maintained pool that provides as many services as possible to the community of Sandy while being financially responsible.  The pool is not a part of a parks and recreation district.  Therefore, it operates without subsidies. While this may limit our operating hours and number of programs, we feel we provide a valuable service to Sandy without requiring additional taxes.
